Meet Brian:
Brian is a third-generation resident of Plain Township, and his family’s roots here run incredibly deep. In fact, public service is in his DNA. Years ago, his grandfather, Jewell Rogers, served this very township in one of the most literal, hardworking ways possible: by digging graves by hand to ensure our neighbors were laid to rest with dignity. That grit, dedication, and old-school work ethic are exactly what Brian intends to bring to township government.
Brian is a 2007 graduate of Warsaw Community High School, and a 2011 graduate of Valparaiso University, where he earned a degree in International Economics and Cultural Affairs. Brian’s education gave him the tools to analyze budgets, solve complex problems, and lead with integrity!
Brian is employed as a Lab Technician for Parker Hannifin, a global leader in motion and control technologies. In this role, he is responsible for precision testing, quality assurance, and rigorous problem-solving—skills where attention to detail is absolutely non-negotiable. He intends to bring this exact same analytical mindset and data-driven approach to managing our township's resources, ensuring that your tax dollars are utilized efficiently, transparently, and effectively.
In his free time, Brian is an avid runner and enjoys participating in 5Ks. He also enjoys spending time at home with his many cats.
Brian wants to ensure township government works openly and effectively for everyone. He will focus on educating the public on exactly what our township's duties are, promoting true transparency in how it operates, and increasing resources to support the most vulnerable members of our community.
